Over the last 2 months, I have been writing a document covering the NWJCC’s escalation of the WGS and the “pause” of gender-affirming surgeries and surgical referrals in Cymru. It is over 110 pages and 27,000 words. It includes detailed information on what happened and when, and information on how to challenge the “pause”. It also includes demands of the Welsh Government, NHS Wales and other relevant groups, the primary one being “Restart the surgeries NOW!”

Call-out for speakers for TDOR 🏳️‍⚧️

TDOR is a deeply meaningful event for trans community. We’re gathering speakers for this years event, if you are interested please send us an email.

We invite poems or speeches based on themes of memory, grief, hope, solidarity and community. We welcome speeches or poems between 1-5 minutes long in any language.

Please send us your interest by the 1st November 5.00pm. The event will be held on Friday the 20th November in the evening. (Timing and location TBA)

As always, we'll be running a sexy little tombola to fundraise for @mutual.aid.for.Palestine and @transaidcymru . Last market we were able to raise £571 on the tombola, lets see if we can break £600 this time! As always, tickets are £1 and there will be a fantastic selection of prizes to win!

New evidence appears to suggest that Plaid Cymru politicians may have mislead the public about their awareness of the escalation of the WGS prior to August 28th. With the NWJCC claiming “NWJCC did sight Welsh Government” prior to August 24th

"the NWJCC did sight Welsh Government on the lead up to the escalation of the WGS prior to the QSOC meeting on 24 August 2026."

This directly contradicts the claims of Mabon ap Gwynfor @mabon.ap and other Plaid Cymru politicians, who claim the government had no awareness prior to August 28th

This information has been made available via an FOI response received on October 15th, 2026. Far right racists and fascists are AGAIN intending to march in Swansea on Oct. 18, this time deliberately targeting overseas and black and Asian students in student accommodation and wanting to march past Swansea main mosque.

It is an explicit attempt to imitate the hundreds of men dressed in black and wearing balaclavas who blocked roads in Dover and Portsmouth in early September.

These and other events are not isolated incidents. Fascist forces want to develop a street movement of thugs to spread hatred, violence and division - and Swansea is no exception.

We must defend our city and communities against the fascist thuggery we saw in Dover, Portsmouth and elsewhere.

We cannot allow racist intimidation and violence in our communities. Swansea stand together against the far right on October 18th

We've made it through a lively September to an even livelier October! So, as ever, it's time for a new Chari-Tea to be spotlit! 💚
