POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We’re bringing back our free coat/warm wearables!

This year we’re upgrading our set up to a fully enclosed locker to keep the coats and other apparel away from the elements. These coats and other items will be available 24/7 outside our store at 2221 Plainfield Ave NE along with our small pantry and @grandrapidsredproject Naloxone box. Will be posting again once the new set up is done!

Since the inception of this collaboration with @pop_of_good starting with the coat rack, we’ve given out hundreds of warm items, and thousands of dollars worth of goods from our pantry. It’s very clear to us how big of a need there is, and we’ve been more than happy we can help meet that need. 💞

In the meantime, we’re always taking donations to our pantry for non perishables and other items for our neighbors. We’re out of food currently! You can drop donations off right into the pantry, ship stuff straight to us, or donate to us on Venmo @ TransfigurePC.

We’d also be more than happy to take any washed warm coats, gloves, hats, or boots to put out once our locker is finished. Feel free to drop those off at the store when we’re open! Larger sizes are preferred as they tend to go the quickest.

Thanks pals! Feel free to share if possible. It would be greatly appreciated. 🫡

happy ocd awareness month! getting an ocd & cptsd diagnosis rocked my world this year. i dove back into emdr, started erp therapy and started a new medication. i quit vaping nicotine, i ended a toxic friendship and leaned into new coping skills and supportive relationships. i sold a house, moved into a new apartment and spent a lot at the vet. i made the hardest decision of my life and it broke my heart. i quit my social work job, started nannying and am pursuing my msw. i was sick for 3+ months, ended a job that traumatized me and learned to rest (well, still learning). i’ve loved a lot, lost a lot, and lived a lot. learning to live life through an entirely different lens has been a huge adjustment, one that im still navigating. but im hopeful, for the first time in a long time. perhaps ever. receiving a professional diagnosis was one of the best forms of self care i’ve ever engaged in, and im thankful for my psychologist, therapists, friends & chosen family for walking with me through each step of this journey. #ocd #mentalhealth #cptsd

Did we know we can print on thrifted clothes?

We printed on thrifted items for @pop_of_good at @transfusenightmarket benefiting our Riot Rations box outside of @transfigureshop 🫶

Have an idea for thrifted merch that involves custom printing? I’m your guy! Check out the custom page on our site, and hit one of the contact forms to get connected right to me.

We’re entering our slowwww months and could really use some more jobs! Thanks y’all!!!!

We’re coming up on a year of our Riot Rations food pantry in partnership with @pop_of_good ❤️

I think we started with the cooler, which then morphed into a coat drive, a backpack drive, and now the food pantry. All have been available 24/7 outside of @transfigureshop 🫶

Thanks to @grandrapidsredproject we also have free Naloxone which is also available 24/7.

We often get asked if these resources are utilized, and yes! As one person who restocks the pantry often.. it’s definitely being used. We also received a note recently thanking us for having it available.

If you’d like to donate to the pantry you can drop anything non perishable off directly to the pantry, or donate to @ TransfigurePC on Venmo!

Thanks for helping keep our communities cared for!

Spend the weekend with me in Grand Rapids for my Guest Spot!

Huge shoutout to the crew @lostlucktattoo for hosting me for a couple days! I had such a great time, and can’t wait to be back in the city for Tattoo Fest in October🫡 here’s a little recap of my trip! I finally set aside time to explore the west side a bit more - Went to the Meijer Gardens, John Ball Zoo, finally went to visit @transfigureshop, had the best Matcha I had in a long time and spend some time with family.

If you’d like to book a tattoo with me back home, I have availability September & October!
