The Sunday Independent have had to apologise and retract an article written by Brenda Power which the Press Council of Ireland found breached its Code of Practice against Prejudice and was “likely to cause grave offence or to stir up hatred against trans and gender diverse people on the basis of their gender.”

We will keep marching, making complaints, writing letters, speaking out and making nuisances of ourselves at every opportunity until every single trans, non binary, gender diverse, & intersex person in Ireland feels safe & included.
