Microcinema: PERVERTS

Thursday October 1 * 7pm * $10-20 * TICKETS

Pink Eye Pictures presents PERVERTS, a carnal, grinning scream as a collection of abrasive, gory and horny short films and video art from the wet pits of the queer underground. Virtual Q&A with program curator David Leo and the filmmakers to follow the screening.

A Trans with a Movie Camera (Frances Arpaia, 2018)
A non-narrative cine-essay that collaboratively explores the potentials for trans feminine representation in film.

I Can Be Killed (Horatio Allen, 2025)
Not wanting to die in a body that repulses him, Lev, a trans college student, resorts to the most extreme measures possible.

Fetal (Todd Verow, 2007)
A music video for Eager Meat's song "Fetal" featuring Philly Abe as a solo foot fetishist.

Baby Bits (Sloane Stone, 2025)
While undergoing a medical abortion in secret, Betty is interrupted by Jamie, her ex-lover and (unbeknownst to him) father of the never-to-be-born fetus.

like an analog (David Leo, 2022)
Stroking a microphone like it's a dick to Nine Inch Nails.

Birth of the Hive Queen (Tempest Creation, 2025)
Amina, a trans escort, gives birth from her anus.

Leather Communion (Maren Moreno, 2023)
Maren Moreno's digital leather video art love letter to her girlfriend.

A Pentagram For the Narrative (Charli Christine Marker, 2026)
Adapting an unpublished screenplay by Hollis Frampton, Charli explores and challenges the perceptions of trans women at their most intensely dysphoric.

Leech and Piranha (Frolic and Frot, 2025)
Join Frolic and Frot for some hypno-transifying fun! Trans your gender, or find yourself beneath us on the food chain in Leech and Piranha.

Revenge Angels, (Maren Moreno, 2019)
After a brutal assault, Fern transforms into a glamorous and vengeful demon named XXXtina FuckPrincess. With help from a pair of hedonistic new friends, she ventures into the desert to exact her bloody revenge.

2 Gurls 1 Jug (Frances Arpaia, 2021)
"Don't dream it, be it..." (TW: EMETOPHOBIA)

God Hates a Coward (David Leo, 2026)
A young transgender man goes into a psychosexual spiral after meeting the object of his desires: an aging punk vocalist.

So stoked to bring some of the sweetest, scuzziest short films from Sleazy Femme to @whammyanalogmedia and celebrate the 30th anniversary of Dirty Girls with the director @michaelcollinslucid 💐💐 my favorite thing about film programming is giving artists I love their flowers and sharing films that stir me in all different ways. Dirty Girls rly embodies all the wisdom and naïveté of being a 13 yr old girl that stands outside the typical high school cliques, I saw myself in them when I first stumbled upon the short as a weird closeted teenager. This program is built around all the feelings of aching loneliness, yearning and rage that come with growing up punk and gay. The moments of freedom, all the fantasies of escaping your circumstances and the worlds of hot sleazy irreverent fun waiting for you once you break free🥳💜 tickets and the full program are in my bio✨🧚‍♀️ gorgeous flyer by @dhj.art

I'm 24 years old now! My freinds Eric and David came up to visit me here in Watkins Glen. I was quite thrilled to see them of course, and I got to show them all around my little corner of the world. Heres to 24 years of life! To quote a post I saw, "NASA discovered a planet where you can have a beer by the lake, and they're calling it Earth!"

✨📼✨Chicago's new and notable video zine, EYEWASH is coming to Milwaukee for a Sunday Matinee screening. To celebrate the second issue's launch we're hosting a watch party of the debut zine! Eyewash is curated by Chicago VJ Taylor Dye, who some may know for their performances in the underground rave scene. This watch party includes a special live A/V performance by several.references.to.feedback and your chance to get your hands on issue 2! This all ages program is presented by Cactus+✨📼✨

👁️‍🗨️ABOUT THE ZINE👁️‍🗨️
Eyewash is a DVD publication featuring short-form experimental and abstract video works from independent filmmakers. It centers visual storytelling, but a little bit of dialogue is welcome too. This magazine was created to pull digital micro-cinema from the virtual world and bring it to life in the physical realm. Eyewash is tangible: hold it, share it, shelve it, watch it, rip it.
Eyewash accepts short films, Instagram reels, music videos, live visual performance recordings, flickers of moving image…all types of optical ephemera have a home here.
