◾️Transgressive Memory Festival 2026☣️ Over the past eight months, I had the chance to develop the visual identity and design system for the Transgressive Memory Festival 2026, commissioned by eCommemoration / Körber-Stiftung. @ecommemoration @koerberstiftung The festival approached memory not as a fixed record, but as a contested field shaped by power, interpretation, technology and imagination — asking who gets to narrate the past, which memories become public memory, and how inherited narratives can be challenged and reimagined. Across the project, I developed the visual language and translated it into a wide range of formats: four posters, flyer, the programme folder, web app, artist communication, countless social media assets, motion applications and more. It was an eight-month process of building a system that could remain recognisable while constantly shifting across different types of content, scales and media. The festival took place on 12–13 September 2026 at silent green in Berlin during Berlin Art Week. @silent.green In calloaboration with CTM Festival & Transmediale @ctmfestival @transmediale A selection of the work here. 🖤☣️💜

transmediale: Open Call for Festival Curation 2028 📍Berlin, Germany · Freelance position · December 2026 - March 2028 Position Details: Curatorial concept & full programme development for transmediale 2028 · Individual or group applications welcome · Possible extension to 2029 What’s offered: · €40,000 net (individual) / €50,000 net (group) · ~70% time commitment; full-time from October 2027 · Freelance role within transmediale’s existing team · Access to transmediale’s network of artists, researchers & institutions · Possible extension to the 2029 edition, decided summer 2027 Who it’s for: · Curator(s) with 5+ years of programme development experience across multiple formats · Strong fundraising track record in interdisciplinary cultural projects · Knowledge of contemporary/media art and its intersections with technology, society & politics · Fluent in English or German ⚠️ Berlin-based or willing to relocate; relocation required from October/November 2027 To apply: · Application form + cover letter (under 700 words) · Submit via transmediale’s online platform · Shortlisted candidates present a festival concept and attend an interview in English 💡 Palette’s take: This isn’t a grant or residency - it’s a paid curatorial leadership role at one of the longest-running festivals for art and digital culture in Europe, now in its 40th year. Since 2025, transmediale deliberately invites a new curator for each edition rather than a fixed artistic director, so the position comes with real authority to shape the festival’s direction, theme, and public identity. Fundraising is a core part of the job, not a side task - budget management and grant strategy sit squarely within scope. 📅 Position: December 2026 - March 2028 · Festival: last week of January 2028 ⏰ Deadline: September 30, 2026 · 23:59 CET 🔗 transmediale.de/en/news/open-call-for-festival-curation-2028 #palette_opencall #palette_curatorial #palette_germany #palette_europe #palette_digitalart

TWO DAYS TO GO! Things are starting to move. Works are arriving, spaces are taking shape, screens are being switched on, and silent green is slowly becoming the place we’ve been imagining for the past months. What has so far existed in conversations, files, schedules, calls and plans will become physical: artists and audiences in the same rooms, performances unfolding live, films on screen, games being played, ideas being debated, music carrying us into the night. We’re very ready to see what happens when it all comes together and we hope you’ll join us. Admission is free. Most of the programme is open without registration. THREE DAYS TO GO! We’re almost there. In three days, the Transgressive Memory Festival begins at silent green and two days of art, performance, film, games, music and conversations unfold across the site. Artists, researchers and cultural practitioners from different places and disciplines are coming together to ask: Who curates the past? How does the body testify? Who codes memory? Come for one thing or make a weekend of it. Move between exhibitions and performances, films and conversations, playable worlds and late-night music. The festival is free and open to everyone. Most of the programme requires no registration, so just come by. *Exhibition* NOTHING ABOUT MEMORY IS NEUTRAL! Our festival proposes transgressive memory as both method and principle. We regard transgressive memory as a mode of remembrance that questions not only institutional authority and dissolves the border between documentary and fiction but also acknowledges the complicity of technology in shaping collective consciousness. Over two days, the festival brings together more than 50 artists, filmmakers, game designers, researchers, curators, musicians and theorists, who examine memory not as something fixed or complete, but as a living process, which we constantly negotiate. The exhibitions, performances, screenings, workshops and talks challenge established forms of commemoration and memorialisation by focussing on artistic and critical contributions to memory culture and its socio-political environment. The works presented propose new ways of building relationships between histories, technologies and urgent questions of our contemporary, mediated global society shaped by new ways of seeing and hearing. With art works, performances and talks by Bashir Bashir, caner teker, Gabriel Massan, Göksu Kunak, Forensic Architecture, allapopp (TATAR:KYZLAR), Dan Hicks, Giselle Beiguelman, Hussein Shikha, Royce NG and many more. Come for the exhibition, catch a performance, play a video game, join a conversation, stay for the music or participate in a workshop! With contributions by CTM Festival, transmediale and VideoClub. ✦ Transgressive Memory Festival ✦ 12–13 September 2026 ✦ silent green, Berlin 🎟️ The festival is free and everyone is welcome! 🔗 Full programme & workshop registration via link in our bio © Graphic Design: Sophia Krasomil (@sophia_krasomil) @silent.green  @soon_simon @yararichterin @transmediale @frtz.zrn @lauracugusi @machine_yearning_ @tyna_marc @clarissathieme @raisan_hameed @ana.maria.millan @charlotteeifler @chongyanchuah @felixpacholleck @gabrielmassan @goeksu_kunak @hoolsoffashions @hussein.shikha @maithu_bui @margarete_jahrmann @qusay_awad_ @transmediale #BerlinArtWeek #contemporaryart #digitalmedia #memoryculture #performance

Il marketing che vende è l' #indignazione: ⤵️ . . I trailer a metà, i leak falsi messi in onda ad arte, i passaparola indignati di false gole profonde e - a peggiorar la situazione - l IA che tutto ammanta: è l'era della comunicazione controversa, è il tempo (buio) del marketing dell'indignazione. Basta vagliare due casi specie come #Odyssey e #Spiderman per vedere come fandom, modding e UGC siano stati (quasi) ininfluenti nella promozione del film, mentre l'industry si muove sempre più consapevole sul controversy marketing, sul dissing programmato. Perché l'odio vende. 🤑🤨 "Pecunia non olet" diceva l'imperatore Vespasiano al figlio Tito. Che triste verità. Odyssey di Nolan: la rece TRANSMEDIALE 🎥⤵️ . . Hanno detto che Elena - Nyong’o - di Troia non poteva essere nera; hanno detto che Euriloco - "Patel" - nocchiero e spalla destra di Ulisse, non poteva farsi nocciola; dicono che l'unica cosa bianca del film siano le saette di Zeus che lampano una pentecontera in mezzo alla tempesta... Non ci addentriamo in critiche filologiche da due soldi (anche se Zendaya che interpreta un Athena avviluppata in due stracci da lavandara proprio non se pò guardà 😆) Ma quello che qui ci preme - quello che vuoi sentire - è il lato transmediale della faccenda. Come il film trans-corre a schermo. Come le IMAX si legano all'epica, e il "nostos" - il ritorno, si lega a quell'altro viaggio, quello a ritroso fatto di checkpoint hollywoodiani, attori in carne ossa, odio e flame spruzzati sui social, pillole e teaser diffusi ad arte, calmierati su un periodo di anni, per torturare il pubblico in un'attesa spasmodica che diventa campo di battaglia, arena creativa. Entra con me nel salotto di Nolan e scopri 🎥THE ODYSSEY - LA RECE TRANSMEDIALE 👉 {nel primo commento}
