Thank you @tsa_ny and @transmitternyc for the strong works of @poppydeltadawn “The Trial of Socrates” and “Do I know you from Somewhere?” by numerous artists. Handwrought effort with historical subjects and unworldly beings.

I had a feeling I’d like it. After seeing the show, I did.

ANAHITA is coming to @transmitternyc in 2 weeks🌹 Opening Sat October 3 from 6-9pm, with a live performance Sat October 17 at 7pm 🔪

ANAHITA takes its name from the ancient Persian goddess associated with water, healing, fertility, and wisdom.

Through collage, sculpture, performance, textiles, water, and participatory ritual, the exhibition moves between ancient mythology and modern mysticism. ANAHITA asks what ritual, imagination, and collective experience can offer in a world shaped by war, displacement, ecological crisis, and loss.

The installation will evolve over the course of the exhibition through performance, ritual, and audience participation.
