Thursday, september 24th, we have a very special treat:
If you like going out, listening to DJs igniting the dance floors, you might already be familiar with DJ Gul. But instead of his usual house focused set, he will play a very special, vinyl-only, set of New Wave, No Wave, alternative rock and obscure Disco.
The B-52s, Talking Heads, Pixies, Throwing Muses, Flying Lizards and more.. Come early!
Special student offer: The Rosalita, a red vermouth-tonic for only 38kr!

This evening at Bird he will spin a wonderful weird whirlpool mix of New Wave, Weird House Disco & Sub Rock, and of course a lot of non-single favourites by The B-52’s. ☎️

Warm sounds for easing into autumn. 🍂

SATURDAY kl. 21-01
FLYVERBOM has been part of the Copenhagen vinyl DJ scene since the early 2000s, and played at Vega, Rust, Søhesten, Bird, etc - as well as clubs abroad like London’s Jazz Cafe, NYC’s Windows on the World - and most recently - Shh. Listening Bar in Vienna. A professor during the day, Flyverbom plays a stylish, sun-drenched mix of tropical soul, afrojazz, latin funk, broken beats and sweet hiphop. 👨‍🏫

SUNDAY kl. 16-00
This Sunday, INNER SPACE JAZZ brings together two generations of Copenhagen’s saxophone scene for an intimate back-to-back session. Joining us is the city’s young gun ISAK SCHIØDT, saxophonist, record digger, and one of Copenhagen’s best-kept secrets, sharing a selection of his favourite jazz recordings. Alongside him is Copenhagen legend DANE TS HAWK, author, composer, and alto saxophonist, whose four-decade career has spanned literature, experimental music, and projects including Dane TS Hawk 3 and Dane TS Hawk & the Locomotion Starsemble. Catch them in the flesh—or tune in live via Radio Jazz CPH. 🎷
