This project consummates acceptance and illustrates the consequences of a lack thereof and the restlessness that follows. “Enough” recorded mixed and mastered by @babyglobin

not even sure where to start fr man, ‘These Gardens Ain’t Safe’ was a title I thought randomly in my room some years ago. Before my family moved to Atlanta and before I would ever write any records for it. It felt like a change from the project I put out before it cause I liked the idea of real transformation happening between projects. It took time for a real concept to manifest from there. as the time passed my family moved to Atlanta, I moved to Newark and kept the 06 jeep my mom had in Jersey. The car the song is named after and the cover is inspired by. The first car I ever drove that carriers a lot of memories I’ll bring to life another time. Newark is where the beginning of this album truly started. That move to me felt like when Kanye went to Jersey in the blueprint era cause I saw myself on a similar mission that I still carry in my mind today. but trials and tribulations come this album was almost an ep, just from the stress of how fast things move today it almost felt like too much of a task to get ppl to listen to a full body of work, but I’ve chosen to be devoted to a more difficult path and that’s just what life has always been for me. songs like max holloway represent a dedication to a craft in the way as a martial artist or carpenter, the way me and friends saw music at 15 is the way I view things at 28. Every song & lyric were made with intention, so I hope yall vibing wittit man it took a lot of patience for sure

shoutout @soundsbydax for starting this project with me fr, basically starting with 06 jeep built the foundation of the sound of this project today. @marstradamus producing one of my favorite records on here being real important to the overall choices with the album. @mannyknighton doing creative direction this shit wouldn’t be able to be released in this way without that, can’t wait for these visuals to drop to really get the full concept of everything. @robknack and @enterexodius @bobcat973 with crazy features. @jon_ace_himself on mixing and mastering bringing the project to life. @austinroma my boy easily my favorite cover art for a project couldn’t imagine anything better fr.
