As we near the end of the year, we have a little note from Gabbie 🎭

2024 has been a year I have been incredibly proud of professionally, so I thought it would be only right to do a round up...

When I moved to London, I used to read James Seabright’s ‘So You Want to be a Producer’ book on the tube to work every morning. Fast forward two years, co-producing a show with @seabrightlive and Mark Gatiss as Associate Producer, especially one that holds such a special place in my heart, was a real honour & beautiful full circle. Not least because Mark’s performance at the National in 2015, was one of those memorable occasions that made me want to pursue theatre (and now the ‘Breeding’ play text is even sold in the NT Bookshop!). The incredible ‘Breeding’ team made the whole process a joy to work on, and a critical hit, in a play that got me emotional every time.

I had the most fantastic year at @fieryangelhq, with colleagues who championed my learning & allowed me to work on a fantastic range of West End & touring shows. From inspiring managers to the best junior team, I had a blast & hold lot of love for The 39 Steps & And Then There Were None. This also showed me my absolute love for event planning & the little details at parties that go a long way!

@tetheredwits our open-air touring troupe produced two smash-hit, sell-out shows touring the UK with a sit down in London’s Covent Garden this summer. Open-air theatre throws logistical challenges like no other, from car breakdowns, to avocado hands and questionable British weather, I’m proud of a team that handled this with grace and dedication.

Finally, the last few months have marked a new chapter at the newly named Seventh Productions at The Partnership Group. I feel incredibly lucky to be working as an Assistant General Manager & Producer across a diverse, exciting slate. The opportunity to hit the ground running with a small team, that is part of an incredible & reputable group with amazing staff and stellar clients, has been amazing & I am truly excited to keep bringing ideas to the table for our growth & development in this new adventure. West End 2025 here we come!
