Headliner announcement #3
.
The Outside Agency @theoutsideagency (NL) 💣🔨💣🔨💣🔨💣🔨💣🔨💣🔨💣
.
The Outside Agency is a hardcore act that plays and produces a multi-tempo blend of dark and industrial elements, incorporating virtually anything from old acid and techno to breakcore. As true dissidents within the hardcore scene, The Outside Agency has always had its own unique sound. This was already evident on their first three releases, which they produced for Mokum Records in the late 90s. After that period, hardcore suffered a drastic change in direction, and the two members of TOA (DJ Hidden & Eye-D) no longer felt at home in the genre and focused their attention on drum & bass instead. Around 2001, hardcore transformed yet again, but this time they were very pleased with the direction it had taken, and they started producing and playing hardcore again with renewed vigor. After a string of successful releases on several international underground labels such as Black Monolith Records and Otaku Records, the two founded their own successful imprint, Genosha Recordings, which is now one of the leading labels in dark underground hardcore. In 2008, the two would set up Genosha One Seven Five for their hardcore and drum & bass crossover material. A third label called Genosha Basic was set up in 2016 for acid and techno material. They destroyed our 20th anniversary, and they are back for more TOA madness!

Technostate Loves LA

For over 30 years, Technostate has been a part of LA’s underground heartbeat, sharing unforgettable nights with this incredible city. In the wake of the recent fires, we faced a difficult decision about whether to proceed with this event. Ultimately, we chose to move forward, not just for the music, but as a way to bring people together in a time of need.

On Saturday, February 1st, we invite you to join us for a night of driving rhythms and raw energy in a true LA warehouse setting, as we honor the city we love and the resilience of its community.

We are deeply committed to the safety and well-being of our attendees. Our team is working tirelessly to ensure a secure and responsible environment where everyone can come together in the spirit of unity and connection.

100% of the event’s proceeds will be donated to a local charity supporting those affected by the fires. Our hearts are with the individuals and families impacted, and we’re honored to give back to the community that has given us so much over the years.

Let’s stand together, dance together, and show LA the love it deserves.
