Happy Heavenly Birthday, TRAVIS. Today was your first birthday away from us, and the pain of missing you is so real. Since the ‘90s, you’ve been my absolute road dawg—LA to NY, back to LA, back to NY... IYKYK. The journey we shared goes on and on, and life just isn’t the same without you here. Yesterday was Kyroe’s first time ever having a first day of school without you. He started high school, and he brought the lock you gave him years ago when you tried to teach him how to use it for his first day of junior high. Time flew by, and poof—he’s in high school now. He was finally able to open it properly after you passed, carrying a piece of you right into those halls with him. You passed one month ago yesterday , which was also the last time Kyroe and I got to see you. I woke up that morning and just felt it in my soul: get up right now and go to the hospital. I am so deeply grateful I listened to that feeling and got to spend your last hour with you, right by your side, looking out onto the Hudson. I miss you every single day, Travis. Everything we went through, everything you taught me, and all the wisdom you gave to Kyroe will stay with us forever. We carry you in our hearts always. Happy Birthday, Travis. We love you endlessly. - Your favorite spoiled brat Chi🥹🩵🫶🏿🕊️ @travis3899
