How do I put into words a goodbye message to my class of 2026, without crying at least. In the past 3 years I’ve grown to know you all so well in many different seasons of yourself.

As a teacher, you always hope to make a difference in your students’ lives. What people don’t talk about enough is how much students can change a teacher’s life too. I came in to fill the shoes of another well liked teacher and you all did not make it easy for me. I’m so glad to see it through to now, and see what great bonds we’ve formed in this shop.

This class has given me the BEST memories of my entire teaching career thus far. Thank you for trusting me, challenging me, making me laugh, and allowing me to be part of your journey.

While you are all going your separate ways to start your next adventure just always know room 170 will always be home and that I’ll always be cheering you on.

Congratulations class of 2026, I couldn’t be more proud of you!
