Thank you, Lakeview Track 🔵⚪️. I want to express my gratitude to God for blessing me with the talent to perform and succeed in track; I truly couldn’t have achieved anything without my faith in Jesus, for whom I run ✝️. Four years of consistent effort—attending daily practices and every meet, even when I wasn’t competing—taught me invaluable lessons and fostered incredible friendships for which I am deeply thankful. I pushed myself to my highest level, surpassing my season goal of breaking 2:20 in the 800 by a remarkable four seconds, a feat I am incredibly proud of.
Transitioning from hurdles, where I often finished last from 9th to 11th grade, to becoming the second-best 800 runner and a member of the varsity 4x8 relay in my senior year is a journey I am immensely proud of. Earning my first and only track medals in my senior year was a gratifying achievement. If you know who you are I appreciate so much the people who stuck with me always especially in my senior season . While I discovered my true race late in my high school career, I’m glad I found something I could excel at, earning my varsity letter and genuinely contributing to the team’s score. Additionally, receiving two coaches’ plaques speaks about my coaches’ recognition of my potential and work ethic. Thank you, Track; it has been a pleasure to be part of this sport for five consecutive years. I look forward to potentially running again in college in the future but all things come to a end and I can say track ended in a memorable ending, impacting my life that I’ll hold on to for the rest of my life. Thank you track ❤️🏃..
