I’ve noticed we stop noticing things that are familiar, sometimes we even stop noticing ourselves, which makes extraordinary things feel ordinary

I had an epiphany on this trip in Cambodia to notice. Notice the blessings and see that gratitude isn’t about finding more, it’s about noticing what’s already here.

I noticed how beautiful the people and culture of Khmer is

That beauty includes these two girls that I met. sreymom and Seiha, were using their recess time to clean the dirt out of my fingernails after a day of building the school.

I am alive to learn and unlearn and do it all again. I am here to unpack and develop and understand the value in struggle.
