Publix Supercopa U10 champs! This team has worked so hard and this weekend they earned the title! They won all 4 games against some really good competition and had a lot of fun doing it! We have such a talented group of girls but I have to brag on mine a tad for a second… TEN goals this weekend! 😤 Love watching Scarlett do her thing!!! We should all sleep good tonight… Scarlett will probably be snuggling with her new hardware and dreaming of the next 🤍

Our kids (especially Scarlett) lived their best lives Saturday at the @atlutd game at the Mercedes-Benz stadium. We tailgated in the heat at The Home Depot Front Porch, we walked the tunnel and got to hold the massive American flag during the opening ceremony (such a cool experience and I def got teary eyed while looking up at the stands), watched a great game whilst dancing the night away (and got on the jumbotron a few times), and then got to go back on the field after the game to do penalty kicks! A HUGE thanks to @lindseygayheart1025 and @mike_gayheart for putting all of this together for these sweet friends/teammates. Core memories unlocked. There will likely be another post bc I have so many pics and videos to share!

Thursday our little boy turned FIVE. 💙

I can’t believe how quickly time has gone by. My Maddox, you’ll never fully know how many people prayed for God to bless us with you. You have brought so much joy into our lives, and you are the sweetest little boy. Your endless snuggles and daily “I love yous” fill my heart in ways I never knew were possible.

If I could freeze time for just a little while, I would. Every stage of childhood is both heartbreak and wonder all at once—the deep ache of little clothes that no longer fit, baby toys that have served their purpose, and knowing the day is coming when bedtime won’t require snuggles from me anymore.

As much as I miss the stages that quickly sneak away, I’m just as excited for all the memories we have yet to make. Maybe that’s the beauty of parenthood: learning to cherish what has been while joyfully embracing all that’s still to come.

Happy 5th birthday, sweet boy. Watching you and your sister grow is the greatest privilege of my life. We love you more than words could ever say. 🩵

A Blue Marlin Grand Championship tournament record seventy-five teams competed for not only the heaviest Blue Marlin, but also another record, the largest-ever prize money total of $2,115,343 for a Gulf-based tournament. 🏆

A Work of Art, from Orange Beach, became the first-ever three-time tournament champions (2012, 2023), while no other team has won the tournament more than one time. Brandon Farve caught the winning 641.2-pound Blue Marlin on the same date he caught his first-ever Blue Marlin on his grandfather’s boat seven years ago. “He has fished with us a lot, but this is the first time he’s been with us for a tournament win. It’s a priceless memory for me, to have my son Scott and his son be a part of this amazing experience here at The Wharf,” said boat owner Art Farve. “He is now the third generation of our family now fishing with us and his generation is the future of our sport.”

Captain Jason Buck and the A Work of Art crew also finished in second place in the catch-and-release division, releasing seven Blue Marlin to go along with the winning fish. A Work of Art caught eight of the 66 total Blue Marlin caught in the tournament.

“It’s been an incredible tournament season,” said Buck. “We were pretty confident we had the right one shortly after we hooked it. Our crew did a great job, Brandon did a great job in the chair, and we were able to get the fish boat side in a short amount of time to get good confirmation measurement, because you can’t afford to make a mistake in a tournament like this.”

A Work of Art’s combined winnings in the Blue Marlin and Catch and Release division earned them the largest payout in Blue Marlin Grand Championship history with a record-setting winner’s check totaling $785,556.00. The team also clinched their second Gulf Coast Triple Crown Championship in three years while Jason Buck adds to his legacy as a now five-time Gulf Coast Triple Crown Championship captain.

Had the best time in Auburn watching Argentina play Iceland! Messi actually played a decent bit in the second half and it was beautiful to see in person. Scarlett was all. about. it! Core memory for sure.

Last day of the school year for this little cutie… and it ended with a splash at Water Day! Watching that baby face slowly fade away breaks my heart but I sure do love watching him grow! My best dude has my heart!

Our big guy had his first @union10fc soccer game last weekend and had a blast! He’s been loving the practices and getting to do what he’s been watching his big sis do for, well, all his life 🤍 Scarlett and her teammate, Addie, were offering a little sideline coaching as well 😉
*Had to pick one of Maddox’s favorite hype songs for this post 😂😂
