You know me as the Minister of Enjoyment. What a lot of you don’t know is that @TravuBug pays my bills. I started it about 7 years ago and reinvented it when I moved back to Nigeria two years ago.

We’re a hospitality concierge company, and we exist to make landing in Nigeria easier and softer: airport protocol and pickups, verified shortlets, itinerary and event planning, reservations and bookings.

Come along on a day in my life, all the way to a radio interview where I talk about moving abroad and coming home three times. Full conversation is on YouTube, link in bio.

Coming to Nigeria soon, or know someone who is? Send them this, or send them to me.

She moved abroad.

Came back to Nigeria.

Left again.

Came back.

And somewhere in there...

Lagos got itself an Enjoyment Minister. 😂

My guest on this episode of InHer40s Radio is Nissy Ade, Founder of TravuBug, and her story is such an interesting one.

We talk about living abroad, why she kept returning to Nigeria, what coming home taught her, building a life on her own terms, and how her journey eventually connected with helping other people travel more easily.

And yes, we definitely talk about enjoyment. 😂✈️

Because travel shouldn't only be stress, visa anxiety, complicated planning and wondering whether you packed the right thing.

Sometimes we need to remember the actual point:

to experience somewhere new and ENJOY ourselves.

But underneath the travel conversation is something else I loved:

The freedom to change your mind about where—and how—you want to live.

🎥 Watch the full conversation on YouTube.

And tell me:

If you lived abroad, what would make you move back home? 👀

A little escape to the beach. 🏖️

Lagos can be beautiful, exciting, chaotic and exhausting, sometimes all in the same day.

One thing I’m learning is that you have to intentionally make room to slow down, breathe and enjoy yourself.

For me, the beach is one of those places. A little sun, water, good company and for a moment, the Lagos stress feels a little less stressful.

Around this time, last week, I witnessed greatness….. & I was a part of it. Cheers to the relationships that brought us there & those that were made on that day.
