Last night, we had our team dinner for our @chimarathon runners. Each year, I am so inspired and humbled by Team Roo. We have hit $100,000 in fundraising, which will continue to grow. That will help SO MANY ANIMALS.

Our captain @konidaris1207 gave a moving speech and I was able to meet people and hear their why. We pick our Marathon team very carefully and make sure that they believe and understand our mission and that they are running with a purpose. Our team will be running with a heavy heart and a reason to keep going when it gets tough. It means so much to us to have them as Roo Family, forever.

Team Roo-thank you. Thank you to everyone that has donated to these wonderful humans, who are so inspiring. I spend a lot of Sunday with tears in my eyes, watching people live out a dream. It is one of my favorite days of the year.

Thank you so much to Pet Supplies Plus - Chicago, IL - W. Foster and all of the neighbors who rounded up at the register, we were able to spend over $800 today on toys and treats for our cancer care packages. That is an incredible amount of money and we are so thankful! That means that we can spend those funds on medical grants.

We were able to shop in memory of Duke today, who loved absolutely every toy and every treat. It was so special to have his mom Tracy shop in his honor. We love our Pet Supplies Plus partnership so much! IT JUST KEEPS GIVING💚 Thank you communities and neighbors. Thank you Torin for making it happen! It means the world.

More lives are saved every day because these people show up for our Chicago Shelter Dogs & we are forever grateful!

Our volunteers are their In Person Advocates.

Their Caregivers.
They give our Chicago dogs the opportunity to exercise both their minds & their bodies.
They give them love, socialization, & enrichment.
They promote the visibility of our dogs.

They help share with fosters & adopters ~ all the reasons we adore these dogs & why our Chicago Dogs deserve a second chance.

We need more people to decide to be part of the Solution in this Animal Welfare Crisis…through both in person actions & by sharing on social media to continue to educate more people.

Join Chicago’s life saving team of @chianimalcareandcontrol Volunteers!

50+ red flags showed up this morning for miles, Pilates & coffee 🚩☕️🏃🏽‍♂️🧘🏽‍♀️

What started as a fun idea turned into a whole community.
Good energy, good people, a little toxic… and a lot of movement 😅

Shoutout to everyone who pulled up, ran with us, flowed with us, and stayed for the Red Flag Latte after.
I guess there’s way more of us out there than we thought ❤️🚩

See y’all at the next one.

Mostly just held puppies 🙃

Lowkey… if we’re waking up early to run… are we even red flags anymore? 🚩😅
Or just a bunch of disciplined people pretending we’re toxic for fun 😂

Either way… miles getting logged. See you at the next one.

Esai is a dream. ♥️ He’s a strong boy, but such a great leash walker and loves to play fetch. I’ve found that the term “gentle giant” is accurate for these big pups, especially Esai. Our shelter needs love and support now more than ever, please come and meet our babies!#rescuedog #adoptdontshop #rescuedismyfavoritebreed

I couldn’t resist sharing this one. This was not my typical work day . I just couldn’t resist to leave it like that ! Sometime the littlest things could make the biggest difference. Was not part of the plan but I knew my client needed the help and support 💛 #organizeit
