Blessings Upon Blessings The NFL Draft Process with TreShawn Watson

“First and foremost, I want to thank God for guiding me through this journey, for blessing me the strength and talent to be where I am today and giving me the opportunity to continue chasing my childhood dreams,” said Minnesota State wide receiver TreShawn Watson in an announcement declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Watson — an instrumental component in Maverick offensive scheme in his three-year tenure — crafted a decorated career at MSU. In his 2023-24 campaign, Watson accounted for 36 receptions and 582 yards; in his 2024-25 effort, he tallied 53 receptions for 808 yards and nine touchdowns.

This season, Watson compiled 40 receptions for 732 yards and five touchdowns in six games — tops among receivers across all NCAA divisions in that time period — before his season-ending injury in October.

As he continues to recover from his season-ending injury and navigates the upcoming draft process, Watson shared his reflections and insights in an interview.

For those looking to see where he lands, the 2026 NFL Draft is set for April 23-25 in Pittsburgh. ESPN and ABC will air the event on television.
