Volunteering has to be one of the greatest privileges of my life and I'm so glad that I get to do it with @growwithrenny.

But you see serving as the co-lead for the media team of the largest mentorship conference in Africa? So surreal 🥺

I’ll admit - I doubted myself. I wasn’t sure if I was ready for such a huge responsibility, especially in a field I was still growing in. But I decided to give it my all, and I’m so grateful I did.

Work started months before the conference as we had to drag Oyin and Ekene to register 😂.

When the day of the event arrived, I had no idea I’d walk 44k steps until I checked my count on Sunday afternoon, after everyone else did. It was a humbling realization. As someone who only recently started getting experience in the media space, I was amazed at how much I was willing to give to make sure everything was perfect.

But the real magic?

My team. I owe everything to them. They were the heart and soul of the media team - without them, we wouldn’t have been able to pull it off. And honestly, I lost count of how many times I wondered, “How many things can I possibly take on?” 😂 But somehow, we made it work.

My mentor, my leader, my mama - Sista Renny 😍😂 @morenikemolehin, thank you for the opportunity to serve, hosting us to a beautiful dinner and gifting us so thoughtfully. I'm at your service till Jesus comes.

Will I do this again? Without flinching and with my entire heart. I enjoyed the experience so much.

See you at GWR 4.0👏
