Joshua Tree.

The desert does most of the talking out here, so the room just had to listen. Sheers to soften the light, texture on texture — boucle, cane, cognac leather — and one very chic, slightly playful pendant doing the sculptural work overhead.

Chic, but never precious. The view is the art; everything else is the frame.

The clients asked for a kitchen that doesn't feel like a kitchen - and this one delivers. Exposed dark beams, a wood island, and a range wall wrapped in a single marble slab make the hardest-working room in the house feel calm and elegant.

Unpopular design opinion: your living room doesn’t need a TV. I know, I can hear the gasps. But in 25 years of designing homes, I’ve learned this: the rooms people love most are built for conversation, not consumption. A living room anchored by a television becomes a theater. One anchored by a view, a fireplace, or just good seating becomes a gathering place.

Put the TV in the den. Let the living room be where people actually talk to each other.

Where does your TV live — and would you ever banish it?

A little drama in the powder room. 🤍

We wanted this space to feel rich and intimate, so we leaned into darker finishes, sculptural lighting, and a statement mirror.

The contrast of the dark walls with the lighter vanity and fresh florals keeps the room from feeling too heavy, while the brass details add just the right amount of warmth.

A small space, but definitely one with a point of view.
