A reminder for those of us that couldn’t afford one of the very cool Kermit and Miss Piggy Puppets sold at D23 for $40,000 each, just remember you may already own (or can easily find) a Jim Henson approved Muppet for a fraction of the cost! The original Fisher Price Kermit doll was used in many of the early Muppet photo shoots (with a modification of the eyes) and Fisher Price would even provide the fleece for the real Kermit for the original film trilogy. Knowing this certainly makes my own Fisher Price Kermit feel that extra special. #d23 #themuppets #monday #vintagetoys #props

Happy 42nd Birthday to this wonderful movie! 🍿 I can remember seeing “The Muppets Take Manhattan” for the first time in 1984 at the cinema with my Dad in London. Unfortunately I had missed a screening of it with Jim Henson at that same cinema a few days earlier! That aside I was totally mesmerised by this movie, I loved the songs so much. This movie is the very first VHS I rented from my local video store. It’s also the second and third 😂 #Themuppets #comic #monday #comicart #movies

..Emilio Delgado as "Luis" & Mom as "Olivia" on "Sesame Street", Together in an old Polaroid Picture 📸 back in the Late "1️⃣9️⃣7️⃣0️⃣s" or the Early "1️⃣9️⃣8️⃣0️⃣s" ..It was So Long Ago, but I can Honestly Still Remember How Kind, Understanding, Humorous & Direct Mr. Emilio was to Me ..He was the Same way with His Co-workers, Friends, Family & the Community, so it was Very Heartbreaking 💔 when I Had Heard He Unfortunately Passed Away Several Years ago 🥺 ..Emilio Delgado was Funny, yet Serious too, while also a Great 👌🏽 Storyteller 📖, Singer 🎵 & Musician 🎸 as well ..His "Sesame Street" Character "Luis Rodriguez" was Very Endearing & Real, because He was Comfortable just being Himself❕️ ..Rest in Paradise Amigo❕️🕊✨️ 🫶🏽 ..This Photo is from My Personal Archives @luissesamestreet @alaina_reedhall @soniammanzano @drlorettalongofficial @linda_bove @sesamestreet @sesamestreetjapan @sesamestreetincommunities @vintage_sesame_street @oldschool_sesamestreet @treasure_chamber @sesameworkshop @pbskids @pbs #emiliodelgado

Do you still own an original Fisher Price Kermit puppet? I would love Fisher Price to re-release this line. They could add some new puppets in the same style. What Muppet Show character would be on top of your list? #puppets #retro #kermit #monday #photooftheday

Grampa Simpson fills in for Waldorf… “We can’t heckle crowds like we used to, but we have our ways… One trick is to tell stories that don’t go anywhere. Like the time I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. And back then, onions cost a nickel, and they had pictures of bumblebees on them! ‘Give me five bees for a quarter,’ you’d say. Now where were we…?” _______________________________________________ #tcb_thebeginningofhegemony #tygri_mandalorerises #topic_shoetrooper #tgm_died_withhonor #lqclm_maythe4thbewithyou
