After seven and a half unforgettable years my chapter at @overtime has come to a close. An epic run to say the least. When I left my dream job at Gatorade for a young startup, a lot of people were confused. But the people who change things rarely follow the obvious path. I felt a spark and I wanted to build with people who were rewriting the rules. Dan and Zack gave me an opportunity that changed my life. They gave me room to grow and their empowerment shaped me as a leader and as a builder. Overtime is a place with a very rare energy. The passion. The pace. The people. The feeling of being in the trenches with a team that is all gas. That imprint will stay forever. Whenever I found a rare second to breathe, I would look up and think… we really built this. From clips on the internet to a global community with more than 100m followers. From a few brand deals to a business with more than $100m in revenue. From niche passion to a movement that shapes the way young people experience sports. I am especially proud of @overtimeboxing . OTX started in the gym, not in the boardroom. It grew into a modern fight promotion that pushes fighters toward world titles. We reimagined one of the oldest sports on earth. We built the fastest growing channels in sports media. It is a true brand in boxing and it will continue to uplift fighters to the next level. I am proud to have contributed in my own small way to building a rocket ship, and deeply grateful to everyone who made it possible. This chapter shaped me as a leader, a creator, and a human being. I will always be a part of the OvertimeFam. I will always champion the fighters. And I will always carry this experience with me. More on what is next very soon.
