Every single day at noon, as the smell of goveđa juha drifts out of open windows and the light-blue trams rattle through the streets of a city with a thousand faces, Zagreb’s Lotrščak Tower fires its cannon. A ritual as devout as any prayer. A habit you grow up with and never quite shake.

@cibonazagreb is a ritual you can’t give up. A lifelong companion that has watched generations of fans dream of continental glory. Kings of Europe twice in a row, in 1985 and 1986; dominant in the Yugoslav era, then a Croatian powerhouse. For Cibona, winning is legacy. And, after ten years, they’re back in @basketballcl to add to it.

In the splendid setting of the Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall, among red-and-white chequerboards and New Jersey Nets jerseys, even in the presence of Biserka, who raised the “Mozart of Basketball” and his brother Aco, the habit is back. A downpour of threes rained down as if on the red umbrellas of Dolac Market, and Galatasaray was left reeling. Ask @khalifmalikbattle if you need confirmation.

In the story of a club that steeped European basketball in tradition, new pages are ready to be written. There is no Cibona without Zagreb, no Zagreb without Cibona.

HEJA, HEJA CIBOSI 💙

CIBONA UBACILA 💯 I UPISALA DRUGU PRVENSTVENU POBJEDU! Najefikasniji bili su Battle (21), Mitchell (17) i Mazalin (16). Badžim, Hepa i Lončar danas nisu bili u kadru.

A sada kreće ono pravo, ABA liga u subotu, Liga prvaka u utorak!

AJMO CIBOSI! 💙🐺
