Truly grateful to know this life with friends on the farm and spaces filled with music.

“Blossoms into an act
And bears its own fruit
Good thoughts bring forth good fruit
Think right and you can fly
The kingdom of heaven is within.”

What a weekend at Sowaar Bar — the kind that leaves your head spinning, your throat raw, and your faith in live music violently restored. Planet Karavan touched down and the walls are still vibrating.

BCom came in swinging, packed Sowaar to the rafters and set the tone with a set so tight it felt like the floor might cave in. The crowd came early, stayed late — that’s how you kick off a night.

Moskitos, multiple shows deep into their inland tour from Cape Town, still played like a band with something to prove. No autopilot. No fillers. Just pure, wired chaos and a rhythm section possessed by something older than you

Then the moment no one saw coming — SKUILNAAM stepped out, debuting her rap set with full conviction. Opening for Jack Parow is no small feat, but she made it hers.

And Parow? The man’s a machine. Cool, collected, and when he hits the stage — electric. Still one of the best acts in the country

To the wild ones who left Capital Craft Beerfest just to come lose their minds with us again — that kind of loyalty doesn’t go unnoticed.

And to Sipho from @aperture_digital_media — thanks for capturing the madness before it slipped into memory.

Planet Karavan rides again.
