My lemon tree just keeps getting bigger! 🍋

But here’s the funny thing: despite all that growth, it has fewer lemons this year than usual.

I’m wondering if it’s finally outgrowing its container. Once I’ve harvested the remaining lemons, I’ll be taking a closer look at its roots and giving it some much-needed attention.

Making all of my hydrangea hedge dreams come true with the help of Trees.com!

‼️ Don’t make the mistake I made years ago by planting cross-pollinating trees without their pollinating buddies!

🌳 Self-pollinating (self-fertile) trees can produce fruit using pollen from the same flower, another flower on the same tree, or another tree of the exact variety. You only need to plant one tree to get fruit!

🌳 Cross-pollinating trees (self-sterile) need a compatible variety of the same fruit nearby, with overlapping bloom times, to produce fruit.

Trees.com makes figuring this out easy! Each tree has a “pollination info” section that tells you whether or not a tree is self-pollinating. If it needs a pollination partner, they provide links to compatible varieties.

#ad Fall is a great time to add new plants to the garden! I’m taking advantage of this time of year to add new plants to my garden for bigger and better plants next year! 🍂🌿
