Last minute speaker wall for @anothermagazine and @gabrielomoses for portrait of @solangeknowles sometimes I’m on back to back jobs and not able to be as hands on in the builds as I like to be. @treesandnails has been a good friend for over 20 years and a great builder and fabricator for me. Also Gautam Sahi (who doesn’t play with socials) gets mvp for tracking down enough speakers in time to pull it off. One photo is us waiting on the last few to arrive. 😅

Sunday’s are Family Run/Race Days! Today was no exception! Aimee and Layla ran the @NYCRuns #ProspectPark5k Layla ran her 4th personal record running a 35:58 5K and finishing 2nd in her age group, again! I ran the @nyrr #RunAsOne 4 miler in Central Park and we met in Brooklyn for race day brunch at @ottava.nyc A huge thank you to Laylas uncles for showing us and cheering on Layz and Aimee! And to Mr. Rivas for cheering for me at the finish! #sundayrunday #runningfamily

Another Family Race Day in the books!
Today we braved the cold and snow at the @nycruns Frozen Pigeon 5K in Prospect Park, and what a day it was!
💥Layla finished 2nd place in the Female 9 & Under division
⏱️ Set a new PR: 37:01
Heart, grit, and joy from start to finish! AND She’s still 6 years old!

Huge respect to Aimee (Mom, Dr. Parow, Best running partner and wife) for lining up and running strong after an 18-hour overnight shift inspiring Layla and I! that’s dedication in its purest form.

Endless gratitude to our incredible family—Aunty Kate, Uncle Chris, and Uncle Shawn—for showing up, cheering loud, and supporting Layla through the cold and snow. And to all our family cheering from afar! That love makes all the difference ❤️
And a very special shoutout to our amazing Superintendent Dr. Kristy De La Cruz for hanging out at the finish line after finishing her race and cheering Layla on—community leadership like this means everything.

I set dressed, scenic painted & art department'd the cover story for the Vogue September issue! Shot by Baz Luhrmann, starring Blake Lively & Hugh Jackman.

Helmed by the set guru & production designer mastermind @nicholasdesjardins; the only man who can make a sandy beach appear on a soundstage in half an hour and disappear just as fast.

This was a fun but totally cuckoo shoot, the A-list art department crew and I built and styled 12 different sets in one day! 🤪💅🏻💪🏻🛠️⚔️
