Night of the Queer 2026!

What a privilege to be back on stage with @luckandschooney in Auckland’s hottest cabaret theatre @victorscabaret ❤️

Danced alongside some INCREDIBLY talented people, like I was star struck y’all, they KILLED it

Thank you to everyone who made this possible to me - our amazing swing @meld.into.a.puddle, @schooneyb @mrjamesluck @therealelektrashock @latulalahi_ f for always accomodating me, and @annaliese_is_blue for looking after me x

Real team effort for this one ❤️

Already missing the amount of times I heard ‘Wagon wheel watusi’ each night 😅

It’s been such a joy to be back in the rehearsal room with this incredible cast, and I honestly can’t wait to share what we’ve been creating with you all.

Creating alongside @therealelektrashock while they build this epic space is so cool and im very proud of you my friend! Y’all aren’t ready for @victorscabaret 🥰
And having @latulalahi_ on as our musical director is so special! “Her vision!”

I’m so excited to see Night of the Queer settle into its new home at Victor’s Cabaret, it feels like the perfect fit.

I can’t believe this was released 4 yrs ago today! Here’s some BTS I never shared. Time goes by so quickly!! I have always been so freaking proud of this song/video and all the incredibly talented people I had the privilege of working with, many of which are friends ❤️
Directing this video was no easy feat by any means. I made a storyboard, conveyed my theme and lyrics to @laydeeliz and did my best to express to her what I wanted from the choreography and overall sentiment of the song. I would have never been able to do this without her. 🙏🏼 Her artistic vision in dance is on another level. I am thoroughly astounded how she brings lyrics to life through her choreography. The dancers @riii_ree @trentiwayne were just as unparalleled. Beautiful interpretation in every way. I was so grateful to all who came through that day.

I wrote this song at a time when divisiveness, anxiety, political unrest, and an overall feeling of worldly uncertainty was palpable. Still resonates.

Well, I’m happy to say I’m writing again and am back with the pen to paper. First new song of 2026 to be recorded next Wed ❤️

Here’s a little sample of TELL ME WHY: (1st verse)

Tell Me Why
We Can’t find the time
To Be one
with our peace of mind

Life evolves
from our history
Once we’re gone
There’s no mystery

You and I are
the answers for years to come
and the years before
Leave behind negativity
Make today what it’s supposed to be

Ooh Tell Me Why
We don’t feel the same
Why we find someone else to blame
Leave behind your own legacy
Make it what it’s supposed to be….

Happy Thanksgiving from our Cedar Croft family to yours! 🦃🍂🫶🏻
We loved spending Thanksgiving Eve on the trails at Caumsett State Park with so many of our riders. Sharing these horses with you is truly the best part of what we do, and we’re grateful every day for the students, families, and horses who make this community what it is.
Wishing you all a warm and peaceful holiday.
