Same time next year?🎂

I’m gonna be so real if you ask me about two months ago how I felt about turning 29 I was so scared and disappointed in what I had accomplished at this point in my life. If you’re in my inner circle, you already know 28 was definitely the most mentally challenging years of my entire life. With health conditions, navigating self-employment, going through my Saturn return era, major personal life transitions, 28 taught me that I can effing do this shit, that life is worth livingggg and is meant to be FUN🍾

So whether you know me personally and have rode for me this year or are new to my little chaos corner of the Internet, thank you, I love you, and let’s have the best year together🤎

Our Día De Los Muertos event last year was so special and this year it's going to be even more incredible!

We'll have a seasonal, plant-based, celiac-safe buffet by yours truly, dessert by the lovely @tresfiori while @hollybeaadair of @centralstem sets the mood!

We'll be celebrating in the Boiler Room @globedyeworks with music, an open na bar, tarot readings, & more! And together we’ll be creating the most spectacular altar with ofrendas to honor our loved ones no longer with us 🧡

@lesdamesphl will be co-hosting this special evening with us and we couldn't be more excited!!!

Join us for A Día De Los Muertos celebration featuring a Peruvian inspired plant-based and seasonal buffet by @la.llamita.vegana with dessert by @tresfiori and an NA open bar on Wednesday, November 4th from 6 pm - 9 pm at @globedyeworks 🧵

@centralstem will curate a festive vibe, pop-up shop, and traditional altar to honor our deceased loved ones. Please bring a picture or memento of a loved one to help us create an altar worthy of their memory and celebrate this beautiful holiday.

Attire: Cocktail Party. We suggest wearing dark moody colors, think marigold orange, golden yellow, deep purples, white, pink, red and black. Each color carries meaning in the celebration and dressing up is encouraged! Please feel free to go all out and wear Día de Los Muertos makeup! We’d love for everyone to appropriately celebrate this holiday with us in a respectful way and the best way to do that is by learning what the holiday means and represents to those who celebrate! We’ll have music playing, a disco ball over the dance floor, and tarot card readings, so come ready for fun! Día De Los Muertos is a joyful reunion between the living and dead!

Cost to attend: $90 pp, includes buffet, open na bar, and a partyyy.

A day of service, community, and giving back.

USBG Philly was incredibly honored to participate in Campari’s Day of Service, spending the afternoon volunteering with the @pspca and supporting the amazing work they do for animals throughout our community.

A huge thank you to Lindsey from the @pspca for welcoming us, sharing more about their work, and making our time there so meaningful.

After a day of giving back, we headed to International Bar to keep the good vibes going over happy hour.

Days like this remind us that hospitality goes far beyond the bar. It’s about community, connection, and showing up when it matters.

We came to serve, stayed for the community, and left with full hearts. Until the next Day of Service.

What do you get for someone’s birthday when you want to shower them with gorgeous flowers but have it be a special treat they can enjoy eating as well? And what if this is the most special sister in the world? The pictures of these cupcakes, these works of art, do not do them justice. Daniela is so talented and creates treats as gorgeous as they are delicious to eat. And they are gluten free. AND…you’d never know it. Thank you @tresfiori for making my sister‘s birthday extra special this year. 💕🎂🎉

The primary reason that Malavé operates out of her home bakery, rather than a storefront, is safety, she said. “Finding a commercial kitchen that is truly gluten-free and certified “celiac-safe” is extremely difficult here in Philadelphia. Difficult as in: they don’t exist. For me, this isn’t a preference—it’s a medical requirement. I can’t work in kitchens where wheat flour is present in the air; exposure causes an immediate and severe physical reaction.”
