if i told a story of all the things that transpired within these last five months, most people wouldn’t believe me. i would probably continue to be perceived as the same guy a lot of individuals know me for; pictures, music, laughs, silliness, and an overall good time. well, today, in this moment, i choose to be transparent. i choose to cast my heart out into the world and show what i have gone through. what i have accomplished or lost vicariously through the people around me. not for attention, sympathy, praise, or likes. but as a reminder that even though i tend to portray myself as something way more, at the end of the day, i am only human. i make mistakes. i accomplish goals. i get anxious. i feel powerful. my emotions are hard to read and i go through it sometimes, some days more than i can manage. it’s exciting, it’s scary, it’s nerve wracking and a whole lot of feelings that i can’t describe with words. but, most importantly, it’s a testament that all i can do, all we can do is keep going.
