Reuel Elijah at indigo at The O2.

A Cardiff born artist taking the sound of Black Welsh music from Wales to London.

After winning Best Reggae Track at the inaugural Black Welsh Music Awards for “Straight Rum”, Reuel joined our winners on stage at indigo at The O2 for the BWMA Winners & Founder Music Showcase.

Reuel’s journey is rooted in Wales. From growing up surrounded by jazz, reggae and Pentecostal church influences, to performing across the UK and building a career as a singer, rapper and songwriter, he represents the depth of talent that has been developing in our communities for years.

The purpose of BWMA is to recognise that talent, celebrate it at home and create opportunities for it to travel further.

From Cardiff to indigo at The O2.
