It all starts here.

Every one of these teachers had a mentor, teacher, or inspiration as a kid who made them want to keep dancing.

And now, years later, we get to watch that same cycle continue right here at Urban Dance Connection.

Because sometimes, it only takes one person to inspire you to keep going. One teacher. One class. One moment that makes you fall in love with dance a little more.

It’s pretty special to see that inspiration come full circle, and even more special to see it happening right here in our studio.

It all starts with one.
And you never know where that one moment might lead.

NBZ 2026! ⭐️

I look forward to this event every year. The energy, passion and joy radiating off these people is unmatched!! I still remember my first few battlezones, 10 and terrified of battling. Now to be 20 and still going to these events is pretty incredible.

Your champion photos are ready for download!! The link is in my bio. If you don’t know how to download directly to your camera roll, PLEASE refer to the video at the bottom of the folder!!

Battle rounds are on their way. I’ve got over 6,000 photos and a 6 year old laptop to work with, so please bear with me. I’ll get them done as soon as I possibly can🫶

Thank you @battlezone___ for having me back! And thank you for helping keep the street scene on the island alive. We need events like this for local dancers.

A typical girls day hang out, an end-of-day battle in Van, and a house completely filled with kids — every couch and bed taken! My heart is full, and I wouldn’t change a thing, except for having Josh home. ♥️ Merry Christmas, everyone! ♥️🎄

@denise.mccune will forever be grateful that you introduced this game to us.
