I don’t need decorations I’m the decoration🤣
To 34!!!

Thank you to everybody that showed up to celebrate me it truly means a lot. I usually don’t do anything special for my birthday so the time I actually tried I merged all of my worlds at the place I truly just love being and was overly taken care of, I couldn’t feel more loved and blessed.

When I was a little girl never would I have ever thought life would bring me to this moment in life. Everything changed, some for the good and quite a bit of some bad.. losing my dad, loved ones, friendships ending, making new friends, starting over…. again and again, forgiving, loving, staying alive and trying my best to just really live for me and little me.

To another chapter,
34 will be a great year.
I know the universe got some blessings for me.

Man, I’m so thankful for my bowling community. It’s been a real anchor, and therapeutic release outside of music since around the time Niko was diagnosed.

It’s honestly wild to think about all that’s gone down at once on the home front. Then quadruple that by also having the slowest fiscal year and a half of my adult life, while also having to navigate being a co-parent, where you’re judged for your absence, no matter what the reasons may be. Shit gets real, real quick. Especially when it’s used against you.

Imagine having the opportunity to have a real conversation with your children about what’s happening in their lives, and yours, and why dynamics have changed, robbed from you for a public smear campaign. How does that help the kids? I’ll never understand. And also, if it’s about “support”, how does smearing their father publicly aid in ensuring he’s able to work? Doesn’t that directly hinder his ability to be a father? I digress. I understand I opened the door to the public years ago, but at what point does this end? What’s the family goal? I’ve always been willing to have the conversation behind closed doors, you have to wonder why the other side isn’t.

Not having your little ones there to celebrate the wins, and to learn from how you deal with the losses is a heavy thing, especially when all you’ve ever wanted is to get to a place where there’s absolutely no doubt, nor reason, that they can’t spend every waking moment with you.

“It could put hate in your heart”.

Luckily, I’ve been blessed to have a circle around me lately that I know genuinely cares, doesn’t judge, and continues to challenge, and support me. There have been times where I’ve only felt at peace at the alley, and it has had less to do with the game, and everything to do with the camaraderie. The fact that pins don’t feel pain doesn’t hurt either though.

When @iamkayfranklin sent me this pack of beats, I had no idea we would F around and make the official BD Anthem. 😤

This past week, the homies, and I became summer league champs. 💪🏾🎳 First year champ status for your boy. Finding this community was right on time man. Bowling has truly become a godsend for me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better group to compete with. Getting to take our talents to Vegas at the prestigious bowling center @orleanscasino was an absolute cherry on top. Looking forward to whoopin’ ass again next season. “A Tribe Called Strike” is here for all fades!

Keep your balls clean. 😅👌🏾.
