🌞 READ MY MIND 🌞

well friends, it’s officially the start of a new era, new album cycle and new life for the band. this one has been a long time coming; if you’ve seen us live at all in the past 3 years, you’ve likely heard us play it

it’s been a huge era of change for us - this is our first release since I was diagnosed with leukemia, and the core of the song is all about finding peace within yourself and becoming comfortable with life’s ebbs and flows.

i was recently told I’m in total remission from my cancer, and it feels like I’m ready to turn over a new leaf, both musically and generally in my life. this song has been there with me through all of it, always grounding and always reminding me that the experience of being mindful and of sharing music is more powerful than nearly anything.

Read My Mind is a sort of time capsule for us, and it feels weird but great to finally see it go. I’ve been holding this one close for years now, and I hope you can find the same escape in it.

we love you all, we thank you for your undying support, and we can’t wait to take you on this ride with us through the whole album. much more to come

🏁 Back in May we got together at Alex’s home studio and recorded some tunes! The incredibly talented @treynotthethird was there to capture some of the fun with the first round of us who were there to record. Listen here for our arrangement of Mario Kart Stadium! 🏁

Silvis live in-studio session on WYSO 91.3 • 5.28.25

Huge thank you to Juliet for having us on her segment at WYSO. Grateful to have a supportive place to share our music. It’s tough getting anyone’s attention these days, most stations don’t even respond to our messages. WYSO is different - making it a genuine mission to promote and support independent artists. Thanks again 🤟

🌞DEBUT ALBUM RELEASE🌞
A Tendency to Seek Distraction

hey yall, thanks for being here, hanging with us and following the band. i’m feeling really good about Silvis lately and it’s been a very fulfilling trip over the past year or so. we shot and produced our own music video and got really inspired, then booked a retreat, took time to look deeper into our sound and wrote our first album. spent the later half of the year tracking and producing and today the debut Silvis album is here, enjoy
