It’s been a long weekend of volleyball, so I’m a little lost for words but one word that continues to cross my mind aside from “tired”, “hungry”, and “uprated” is “grateful.” I’m grateful to have been captain of a team full of strong ambitious, competitive, and caring people who, by and large, carried me this weekend!

A few months ago we got demolished in Houston and placed at the bottom of the ranking with 38 teams. This time, with an even stronger set of teams, we placed 6th* (amongst 42 teams). Words can’t express how happy I feel to end this weekend on such a high(Q) note. I’m so thankful for everyone who’s ever been part of any iteration of HighQ.
