ETJC Molėtai P16 & Jūrmala P47🇱🇹🇱🇻

On Molėtai I qualified to the final, but unfortunately the final was cancelled due to bad weather. On Jūrmala I competed far from my normal level, and I am ashamed to end the season like that.

Between the races I had the amazing opportunity to be part of the Europe triathlon development camp.

I am grateful for these opportunities and excited to keep working!🤩🫶🏼☝🏼

HelTri Eliminator!
Ihan sairaan hauska kisamuoto!

Erityiskiitos @raulmero hauskasta juonnosta kisan ajan!

Viikko Köpikseen, on ihan hyvä mieli. ☺️

Tough racing weekend behind🫡🏆

On Friday I competed at the European Junior Sprint Championships at Elblag 🇵🇱. I finished 59th which was below my expectations. I'm a bit disappointed with the result and I know I am capable of more.

On Sunday I lined up again at the Finnish Supersprint Championships 🇫🇮. The morning heat went smoothly, and I finished 3rd. In the evening final, I managed to put together a strong overall race that secured my first ever overall national title🥇🤯

𝗞𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 – 𝗸𝗼𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗷𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗵𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗺𝘂! 🚴🏃
Miltä tuntuu saapua vaihtoalueelle, hypätä pyörän selkään ja lähteä matkaan kuten oikeassa triathlonissa?

Triathlon Vantaa järjestää SM-viikoilla lajikokeiluna triathlonin vaihdot:

🇱🇻𝔹𝕒𝕝𝕥𝕚𝕔 ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕞𝕡𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡𝕤😼👀

Honestly one of my best races so far.
From being P20/26 among the elites after the swim to getting a small group of strong riders and coming out of the bike in a group of 9th-17th place – and eventually finishing 13th — I got so much more out of this race than anticipated🤩

Now, I have quite a bit of time before having to worry about my next race🔜

I’M RUNNING AN ULTRA TOMORROW🌳🦌🤩

so the last few days before the @beyondtrailsuk x @wilddeerevents 55k ultra have looked a bit like this:

🌦️ You’re checking the weather every 5 minutes… like it would’ve changed from the last time

🍝 You’re having two different carbs at every meal (bread + pasta combo unlocked 🙂‍↕️)

🤒 The taper starts tapering and suddenly every sensation feels like a niggle or “am I getting sick?”

📦 You already had everything laid out four days in advance

🎒 Your race vest gets packed, unpacked, and packed again… just in case

📱 You have too much time to spare so you’re three hours deep in ultra marathon TikTok watching race recaps and gear reviews

🎽 and because of the previous one you’re now last-minute panicking about buying another running vest or some “better” socks... even though you know nothing new should make its debut on race day

😴 You know you need sleep more than anything... but your brain has other plans

🤯 Constantly switching between: “I’ve got this.” and “Why did I think 55km sounded like a good idea?”

If you’ve done an ultra before, what would you add? 👇🔥
