We moved into a house with a garden… and honestly, we had no idea what we were doing! 😂🌿

We moved end of April, and we were so excited to finally have a little outdoor space for our family. 🏡🤍

But once summer came, the grass dried out and everything started growing like crazy. Before we knew it, our garden was completely overgrown!

We had to call the gardeners for a much-needed clear-out, and now it’s time for us to slowly make it our little family garden. 🌱
We even didn’t know we had a back door dor garden waste, as the Apple 🍎 🌴 was so big and it covered the whole back fence.

Our little one already LOVES the garden and wants to be involved in everything — so I have a feeling he’s going to be our smallest (and most enthusiastic) gardener. 🥹😂

This is just the beginning… let’s see what we can create together. 🌿🤍

The garden series is slightly delayed… 😂🌿 but here’s a little sneak peek of what we discovered in our garden! 🍇

When we moved in, this was just a metal arch covered in leaves. We honestly had no idea what it was and then we realised we had a grape vine! 🍇😂

And look at it now — beautiful grapes, ready to eat straight from the vine. 😍

Now I just need to learn how to actually take care of it! From pruning and training to knowing when and how much to water… I clearly have some homework to do. 🌱

No worries. No schedules. No idea what’s happening in the background. 🌿

He doesn’t see the early mornings, the planning, the sacrifices, the decisions, the things we give up, or all the little things we do to make his world feel safe and free.
And maybe that’s the whole point of parenting…
to give them a childhood where they don’t have to worry about any of it. 🤍

Let them run. Let them explore. Let them be little.
One day, they’ll understand how much went into making their freedom feel effortless. 🥹

YouTube was where it all started…

Back in 2016 starting making vlogs as a video journal. Making all things I felt thought would be great to share with my kids one day. Videos that were fun to create, experiences, collaborations, and all things cringe.

At one point I felt like… no one’s doing this. Why should I continue…. But here I am being one of the participant of the Australia/New Zealand first creator program. Praise God to have the opportunity to learn and be amongst the best.

We started with painting, then went cycling, played football and finished with a little picnic. Just one of those days where you’re happy to spend time together and let the little ones enjoy themselves.

And yes… after all that, his T-shirt was covered in mud, paint and food stains 😂
But honestly, that’s part of it. I’d much rather let him play, get messy and enjoy himself than worry about keeping his clothes clean.
