What a stay we had @hotelfootballuk at the weekend. We’ve been into @cafefootballuk for pre match drinks before, but staying here was another level and a must for any football fans 👏

The rooms are full of memorabilia, lovely touches like chocolate football favours and mini bars with lots of retro treats, and tv’s in the rooms showing Sky Sports & TNT sports 🙌

Playing football with the family on the roof whilst the sun set over Old Trafford was definitely memories made to last a lifetime ❤️⚽️ Families staying at the hotel or dining at Cafe Football can use Heaven’s rooftop football pitch for free, subject to availability (private events may restrict access, so best to check with the hotel before) ❤️

The girls loved the passport challenge, and with the Lunch & Tour Package, children aged 11 and under receive two courses and a drink from the children’s menu and admission to the Manchester United Stadium Tour and Museum @manutd ❤️⚽️

Thanks so much for having us @hotelfootballuk @cafefootballuk, we had the BEST time (gifted stay) ❤️

An Interior Perspective

Beyond the architecture, the story continues within.

What makes Varel Singapore @varelhotel @tributeportfolio particularly interesting is the thought and attention to detail that has gone into creating this intimate boutique hotel.

Drawing inspiration from Singapore’s traditional shophouses, the interiors bring together heritage influences and contemporary design. Intricate metalwork, carefully considered joinery, textured surfaces and sculptural lighting create a visual language that carries throughout the property.

The contrast between the lighter guestrooms and the deeper green interiors introduces different moods and experiences, while beautifully detailed headboards, layered materials and carefully chosen furnishings give each space its own character.

Even the bathrooms have been treated as architectural spaces in their own right — from richly coloured tiles and dramatic stone finishes to sculptural bathtubs and bespoke detailing.

What I particularly appreciate is how these elements come together. Nothing feels incidental. From the larger spatial compositions to the smallest details, there’s a genuine sense of consideration behind the design.

An exploration of the spaces, materials and craftsmanship that give Varel Singapore its distinctive identity.
