9 yrs ago tonight, 2 wonderful people got married in a truly magical & perfect wedding.
And they live happily ever after…
They’re a testament to strength, support, friendship, love 💕, honor, “sickness & health,” & all those other prescient vows. (except back seat driving! 🤭)
My sister, @triciamccrone gained a husband & partner, & I gained a big brother. I was a proud bridesmaid - & a waterfall of tears (I couldn’t stop blubbering!)
Surprise Tricia & Billy….here is your beautiful invitation, & my perfect bouquet! (not bad for 9yrs! My “tear tissues” are still stuffed between dried roses!) Yes, that’s Reagan’s snout sniffing the flowers!
I love you both! Thank you for bringing my sister the joy she so deserves, Billy. And thank you for keeping us all laughing! #OhHappyDay🎶🎶

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the gift in my life, that keeps on giving!
Tricia is not just my best friend, she’s also my sister. We don’t share DNA, our bond is far greater. As an adopted kid myself, I have unique understanding of “family by choice,” as opposed to “family by chance.” Family, however it manifests, is what makes our lives richer. But, the family we “choose ” is usually the result of knowing you’ve been blessed enough to find that wonderful soul who will stand by your side on the worst day of your life, just as lovingly as your best days. It’s cliche to say Tricia knows me better than I know myself…but, I’ll be damned, she REALLY does. And, there’s a lovely comfort in that knowledge. The other knowledge I celebrate today & everyday, is that I am CERTAIN that Tricia McCrone Brinton was always the sister I needed. Happy Birthday beautiful sister. I love you & your beautiful heart.
