When I was 14 years old, I heard My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark in the background of an Anakin Skywalker edit on YouTube. Something switched in my brain and I went on a deep dive into a new (to me) genre of music. Over the next twelve years, this band would change my life in ways I never could have anticipated.

If little teenage Bridgette knew that she would see Fall Out Boy over and over again, meet several of the members, and make the best friends she had ever made, she simply would not believe it.

I cannot thank @falloutboy enough for everything they have done for me. They really were the gas in my tank for much of my life and their music moved me to be creative, be bold, and sing until my lungs give out.

I am so emotional writing this post. Even though I have drifted back and forth and have not engaged with their community in a while, I will always love this band and its music will always be so special to me, as will all the friends I have made along the way.

Cheers to more years.

So Much (For) Tourdust - July 2, 2023. My first Fall Out Boy headlining show.

So Much (For) Tourdust - July 3, 2023. A show so nice I saw it twice!

So Much (For) Tourdust - August 1, 2023. Me and Rae have been friends for a decade now. We met online because of this band and in 2023, I flew across the country to see them and see the band together ❤️ we are still friends to this day.

So Much (For) 2ourdust - March 3, 2024. I cannot thank my cousin Kiara and her wife Erica enough for funding FOUR of my eight Fall Out Boy concerts, including SECOND ROW VIP for this show. Lifechanging memories made. That's us in the little white circle.

September 17, 2024 - Fall Out Boy friends from across the states gather to meet Pete Wentz at The Grove! This was my first time meeting Dolph, Frankie and Brandi!

November 2, 2024 - Meeting Joe Trohman is still one of the best things that's ever happened to me. Thank you for your honesty and willingness to talk about the hard things in your memoir, and for being such a good example of

OUR TIME IS ALMOST HERE 📣
ZINE PREORDER ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

“Camp TAI Presents: About A Band” - A Fan Zine For The Academy Is... has become real! i had the lucky chance to hand deliver a copy to each member of TAI at their last show, and they all seemed to love it. 🥰

Adam was like, “that’s me!”, 😂 Butcher commented on how glossy the cover was, carrying the zine around under his arm, and Mike liked the quality, asking where it was printed. William signed my copy “for the OG counselor.” 🥺 truly couldn’t have gone better!

a HUGE shout out to @jwebmusic for all his help (including being our cover star) 🐐🎖️ and to @therealkbrown for all his moral support. 🤝

Steph and i are thrilled to have been able to make this happen. and now, we want to share the zine with all of you!! endless thanks to everyone who submitted to this project - we are so excited to get print copies into your hands very soon… 💌📫

that said, your co-editors have set up a limited first run batch of physical TAI zine copies! we are limiting this first batch to 20 copies in the US only as we continue to try to sort reasonable international shipping options for our overseas campers 🧭📦 thank you for your patience as we figure this out!!

🚨 this is a very limited run, but will NOT be our only physical preorder! 🚨 we also plan to host an online version of the zine soon for anyone who may not be able to get a physical copy for any reason. we want this to be as accessible to all as possible. stay tuned for giveaways from various sources, too... 👀🎁

the TAI fan zine is available NOW for purchase on ko-fi at the link in our bio! the cost is the base price of production, shipping, and a $1 donation to the Children’s Hospital that cared for Barrett in their memory. 🩵 orders will be shipped starting in October 2026. please note that shipping timelines may vary depending on location and fulfillment.

welcome to Camp TAI! ☀️🦌 where in the world are The Academy Is fans checking in from? 🏕️🌎🤔

when we opened submissions for the Camp TAI Fan Zine, we asked fans of The Academy Is to share a little piece of themselves with us: fan stories, fan art, photos, memories, and even where they call home.

this map is based on responses from TAI fans who submitted to the zine and opted to share their home base locations with us. it’s so cool to see how far this community reaches… from across the US to around the world, each pin represents a fan who is helping make this project & fan hub what it is: a celebration of The Academy Is, by the fans, for the fans. 📍✨

the zine submission window may be closed, but camp TAI is just getting started. 🏕️ stay tuned for behind-the-scenes looks, sneak peeks, and more details about the Camp TAI Fan Zine, coming soon! 💙🩵🤍#TheAcademyIs #AlmostThere #CampTAI
