Bill McGathy runs @indegoot management, and was the first main rock industry power player that I met when I visited NYC for the first time in ‘99. He’s mentored & inspired me ever since. Bill is responsible for a massive amount of rock bands being where they are today @shinedown @halestormrocks @blackstonecherryofficial & so many more!

Bino has been working w Bill since I can remember. He was my roommate in NJ, and the best man in my wedding to @melissammangin - all three of us lived together in Jersey City from 2000 to right before Mya was born in ‘03. My heart was full after seeing them both again last night.💯

Today is International Women’s Day & I would be remiss if I didn’t take a moment to recognize some of the women in my every day life who inspire me with their strength & leadership. I love each of them for what they bring to my life & how they lead their own lives. To Jennifer, Jennie, Lern, Stephanie, Lux, Christi, Kim, Lzzy, & of course mom… I love you all & appreciate you all for being the amazing women you are!

Expressing true feelings in the form of anecdotes has never been my forte. When passionate, I scream it from the rooftops, it pours out of me even when I think I have the wherewithal to contain it. For my whole life, it’s been that way & it’s still the same today. I don’t ever apologize for that.

Shinedown sold out TD Garden in Boston on Saturday night & the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden on Sunday night this past weekend. I’ve been in love with the four guys in this band since I was a teenager in West Newton, Massachusetts & in love with the crew, our team & every driven individual who has shown love in between, new & old, since the moment I met them. You know who you are.

Beyond grateful for this life & the accomplishments we’ve worked so hard for.

My son didn’t get to see it with his own two eyes, but he was there & I’m certain he felt it all.
