In 2019 I went on a little known podcast called Triggernometry to talk about tech-overreach and my experiences as a woman-in-tech. (See full interview on YT). They have since gone on to be one of the biggest podcasts in the world… Incredible success as brilliant interviewers attracting commentary from leading thinkers around the world on all the topics that matter.

And I’m still wanging on about online harms. 😬😂

But you could say we were pretty prophetic back then - 7 years before this all erupted- raising this before anyone else.

In simple terms: children don’t just need us to provide for them, they need regular moments where they actually feel our attention. 👀

✨ Talk during dinner.

✨ Read together before bed.

✨ Put the phone away for 20 focused minutes.

✨ Protect some weekend time for connection.

✨ Aim for presence, not perfection.

Not every parent can simply “work less,” and guilt isn’t helpful.

The better question is: how can we make the time we do have feel more connected?

Simplified insight: kids spell love with attention. ❤️
