Thank you @masterclassmunitions for sponsoring the match.

Not my fastest time, BUT it’s a stage I am super excited about given that gnarly 🐵 swinger behind the door (I think my reaction at the end says it ALL! 😆). I trusted myself, and did what I had to do to get the hits I needed. NO mikes. NO no-shoot. Just all A and C, baby!

❇️2026 The Gridiron Arena USPSA Level II Match - The Matrix ❇️

My goals were simple:

🎯 Gain experience at my first major match
🎯 Know my stage plans and execute them
🎯 No FTSAs
🎯 Get decent hits
🎯 Don’t DQ
🎯 Don’t be last

Speed was on the back burner for this one as that is still a big work in progress. Instead, I wanted to be deliberate with my hits and be able to execute a plan more naturally. I met my goals… and then some!

✅ NO FTSAs
✅ NO No-Shoots
✅ NO Penalties
✨2A & AC on the double 🐵 swinger
🔹Only 10 Deltas
💥 6 Mikes
231/289 overall
85/103 Carry Optics
🥇1/3 Carry Optics D class

There was only one point where I knew I had truly messed up a plan which was on Stage 7 “Guns. Lots of Guns” where I forgot a reload going into a corner along a short wall. That threw me off for the next few targets with frustration getting the better of me, resulting in 3 completely preventable mikes.

Had I not made that error, I would have finished the entire 10 stage match with only 3 legit mikes. BUT what I was able to do was shake that off completely and focus on the rest of the stages. A good reminder that mental discipline is just as important as the physical skills.

Am I where I want to be? Not even close.
Do I still have a ton to learn? Absolutely.
Do I need to get FASTER and more aggressive? Hell yes. That is next on the list….(I run like a distance runner not a sprinter 🙄 and that needs to change).

Thank you to all of the LGR staff and Gridiron crew who made this first Level II event incredible for me and every shooter. Stoked to have been on a killer squad along with the support of the best coach and 🖤 @the_armenian_devil I could ask for. I know he’s going to turn the heat up on me more now, though, lol 💨 🏃🏻‍♀️ Let’s gooooo! 💪🏼

Last match before gridiron and I’ve been pretty happy with how I’ve been performing with the @waltherarms pdp from concealment. Considering it’s only my 4th match with this gun I’m loving it. I’ve also been working on my stage planning because I’ve usually had to get help from others because I feel that is something I struggle with. This match I primarily focused on doing my own stage plans and it showed for stage 5 on bay 7. My stage plan was pretty different from everyone else in my squad and I was able to execute it pretty well except for almost running into a wall again 😂 still was good enough to get a CO stage win.

Running my @waltherarms steel frame 4.5 pdp with an @mymagmo grip and @badlandsmco 135gr comp. All inside a @werkzholsters and @txcholsters IWB set up.

Officially Out of office: traded emails for stages, reports for shot timers, and my desk chair for the Gridiron Arena.
If it’s urgent… it can wait, respectfully, of course. 🤣 Byyyyeee!

Stoked for a fun week with everyone!

I didn’t think anything could be as humbling as training and showing western performance horses… and then the competitive shooting world said, “buckle up, Buttercup.”

Learning to become a better shooter while simultaneously teaching my body to be more athletic has been one of the hardest challenges I’ve taken on. It’s pushed me mentally and physically in ways I didn’t expect—and I know I’m still nowhere close to where I want to be. But it’s a start.

I’m proud of the effort I’ve put in so far, and I’m exactly where I should be for my current skill and ability. No shortcuts, no pretending I’m further along than I am. Just putting in the work, learning, getting humbled, and coming back for more.

Now I know what I need to work on, and I’m hungry to chase down that next rank.

To everyone who has coached me and those who have reached out with tips, atta girls, listened to my doubts, and provided support and encouragement, THANK YOU!
