How grateful I am to be able soak in God's creation. Seeing the sun light beam through the forest was breath taking.

Grateful for movement my I never take it for granted.

Recovery run. Not even going to lie, absolutely bummed. Next weekend was supposed to be my first 50 mile ultra, the stepping stone to my ultimate goals. Sidelined, first week hitting 20 miles since April. Find myself in marathon training, then the Half Ironman build. I’ll get an ultra one day, no worries. I guess my big dawg shirt had the actual big dawgs feeling challenged @trillartfactory @everydaybetterclub @flipbelt #running #triathlon #marathon #triathlon #runner

Week 13/26 ✅ This week was super necessary. Recovery is a very important part of a marathon build. I really took some days off and focused on healing any lingering soreness or discomfort (upper glute tightness/ankle) and locking in on strength training sessions. Also, I got an opportunity to refocus my mindset on my goals and how to process the outcome. Failure is only when you stop trying. I’m ready to see how all my hard work will translate to Sundays @houhalf

Today’s 10 mile run felt amazing in cooler temps. Feel strong and optimistic going into race week. AGTG 👆🏼👆🏼💯 for bringing me this far and giving me another opportunity to lace em up each and every day. I’m grateful and I plan on carrying this gratitude to the finish line ❤️‍🔥💯

There was a time when I didn’t get to choose what I was going through. Now I get to wake up, lace up, and voluntarily suffer for something that makes me stronger.

That’s a privilege.

16 MILES. 🏃‍♂️🔥

Last week humbled me. This week, we answered.

It was a grind, but we got it done. Grateful to God for a capable body and another opportunity to push my limits.

Marathon prep is rolling. Not every week will go to plan, but we keep showing up. 🙏

Thank you God for giving me the ability to complete another race. I am truly blessed! 🙏🏼

Had a blast doing this one with a great group of guys who put in the work and better themselves everyday. Thank you @mckkmaire for being there for me through everything and thank you to my mom for showing up in the pouring rain to watch me cross that finish line. I don’t know what I would do without them. ❤️ Also got to see a bunch of DAWGS out there on the course @trillartfactory you guys are awesome. 💪🏼

Proud of the outcome and will continue to learn and get better. Until the next one!….. Ironman Texas 2027? 👀
