5 things I’d 100% do again if I started my van conversion from scratch 🚐✨

1️⃣ Pop-up roof ⬆️
Being able to stand up (and dance 💃🏼) in the van makes SUCH a difference. And sleeping up top with the roof open, listening to the sea… honestly, it doesn’t get much better 🌊

2️⃣ Swivel captain’s seat 💺
I changed my front bench double seat for a single swivel seat. It wasn’t cheap, but 100% worth it. It gives you so much more space and makes the front of the van feel completely different. @trim_technik

3️⃣ Brentacre van insurance 🛡️
This has been a game changer for me. Whether you’re converting your van yourself or getting the professionals to do it, you can keep making modifications as your build progresses, with Brentacre understanding that your van is going to evolve. I started the conversion myself before handing it over to the experts, so not having the worry about insurance was a huge bonus. @brentacre

4️⃣ 60L underslung water tank 🚿
Having a 60L water tank underneath the van has made such a difference. Being able to have a shower on the road, as well as having plenty of water for the sink, makes van life so much easier. 💦🚐

5️⃣ Sliding seat/bed on rails 🛏️
This makes the van SO versatile. You can slide it back to create a bigger living space or move it forward when you need more boot/storage space. 🙌🏼

If I started my van conversion again tomorrow, these 5 would be on my list again without a doubt.

My five favourite things in my new campervan 😮‍💨🚐

1. The Napper leather sports seats are more comfortable than my couch at home @trim_technik 👌🏼

2. The fully off-grid charging system means I can power anything anytime on my adventures. Thanks to @roamervans. 🔋

3. I love the pop-top roof for sleeping and opening up the whole van to stand up.

4. The massive boot space is perfect for all my kite gear. Need I say more? 😍🪁🪁

5. The genius table design by @taylored_campervans is a huge plus.
