Plan | Style | Organize | Execute What a day! 🤍 While we’ll always love a beautifully styled tablescape, it’s the hugs, laughter, and little in-between moments captured on film that tell the whole story.. C + D’s June wedding at The Harpswell Inn was filled with all the details we love about a Maine summer celebration. Blue-and-white patterned linens, delicate garden florals, a sailcloth tent beneath the trees, and an afternoon spent celebrating with their favorite people. On a cloudy May morning in Brooklyn, our neighbor and friend @trimblenator captured a typical Saturday for us on Super 8 film. It is the little moments like grabbing pastries at the bakery downstairs and taking walks through the tree lined streets of Ditmas Park with Benji that I want remember forever. Today marks 2 months we’ve been gone already, hard to believe! Really excited to start new traditions in the next city we’ll be living in starting this month! WALLS TRIMBLE, Artist Feature ( 3/3 ) In our most recent Artist Interview, photographer and Super 8 filmmaker, Walls Trimble, shares about her experience in the Artist Program and describes how in the process of refining her portfolio, she discovered a definite thread throughout her work that carried us into forming a brand identity and website that feels true to who she inherently is as an artist. “We discovered that nearly everything I was drawn to was already on my desk: paper doll bookmarks, framed butterflies, a magnifying glass. The colors I loved were also already in my work, despite my not noticing. WALLS TRIMBLE, Artist Feature ( 2/3 ) Walls Trimble (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based photographer and Super 8 filmmaker specializing in portraits and events. Her work is inspired by her background in theatre and a strong curiosity around character and color. Walls uses both analog and digital tools in her practice and brings her experience as an actor to help guide subjects. Through her use of cameras from the 1960s to today, she seeks to bridge the gaps between how we understand our current lives with our perception of the past. She hopes her work will bring the same joy, comfort, and knowledge to future generations as her own family archive did to her.
