“I didn’t wake up one day and decide to start a makeup brand. This has actually been a dream of mine since 2016. When I started my journey as a makeup artist, I knew I wanted to do more with my passion for beauty. But I didn’t know exactly what it would look like. Then, in 2019, I organised the @the_makeupandbeauty_festival first Makeup & Beauty Festival, and something began to make even more sense to me. I was bringing makeup artists, beauty professionals and creatives together, creating a platform for them to learn, connect and grow. And somewhere along the way, I realised that beyond creating opportunities for these artists, I also wanted to create something they could use in their work something that could become part of their makeup kits and beauty routines. I wanted to build something that connected directly to the industry I had spent years being part of. But beyond that, I wanted to create a brand of my own. Something that carried my vision, my creativity and my understanding of beauty. And that’s how the dream of Trinalee Cosmetics began to take shape. It has taken years of dreaming, learning, planning and finally taking that leap of faith. Now, what started as a dream in 2016 is becoming a reality. And on the 15th of November, 2026, I’ll be introducing Trinalee Cosmetics to the world at MBF 8.0 in Jos, Nigeria. This is more than just a makeup brand for me. It’s a dream I’ve carried for years, and I’m so excited that you’re finally getting to be part of it.
