Meet Trini — a 160 cm model based in Los Angeles 🤍

Trini has been modelling on and off since 2019 and began pursuing it professionally in 2025. Like many petite models, she’s faced castings with strict height requirements — and rejection because of something completely outside of her control.

But her perspective has shifted.

She’s learned that there are also opportunities with no height requirements, and even castings that specifically suit shorter models. More importantly, she’s learned not to let rejection define her path.

Her advice to other petite girls who want to model?

“Follow your heart and your dreams always. For every ‘no’ you get, there is a ‘yes’ waiting for you.”

And perhaps the biggest reminder of all: no one will advocate for you as much as you advocate for yourself.

More Than Height 🤍
Petite perspectives. Bigger opportunities.

One of the questions I get asked all the time is, “What should I be doing for my skin before my wedding?”

The truth is, you don’t need a complicated skincare routine to have beautiful bridal makeup. If you’re starting from scratch, focus on these three simple habits:

✨ Cleanse your face every morning and night.

✨ Moisturize every day, even if your skin feels oily. Hydrated skin helps your makeup look smoother and more natural.

✨ Wear SPF every morning to help protect your skin and keep your complexion looking healthy.

That’s it. You don’t need to buy a dozen new products. Being consistent with these three steps can make such a difference in how your skin looks and how your makeup wears on your wedding day.

I also always recommend seeing a licensed aesthetician for a few facials leading up to your wedding. Professional treatments can help improve your skin’s texture, hydration, and overall glow in a way that at-home care alone sometimes can’t.

As a Los Angeles bridal makeup artist, I always remind my brides that glowing makeup starts with healthy, well cared for skin. Small habits now can make a big difference when you walk down the aisle.

Save this post for later if you’re planning your wedding, and send it to a bride who needs this reminder.
