My first Weddings by Wolfe wedding of the 2026 was yesterday! We celebrated Alissa and Ben Thompson at the Red Earth Venue. They actually eloped back in March and opted to show their elopement video in lieu of doing another ceremony. This was such a fun change up! This was so special to me because the last time I was at this venue, I was assisting @hannah.bocksnick with Red Earth Events. It was such a beautiful full circle moment to be back at the most spectacular venue, under my own brand and with my own team. Alissa planned the entire wedding herself, and brought me on about a month ago to Day-Of Coordinate. After a couple Day-Of positions last year, I decided the last minute add-on isn’t really for me. I like to be involved earlier in the planning process. Planning a wedding is hard — harder when it’s a destination wedding in a town with limited resources — and most people have only been a guest. As a guest you don’t see every moving part! I’ve been telling my clients that I prefer to prevent fires, rather than put them out on the day. However, I did make an exception for Alissa and Ben after learning Alissa has been a Florist in Colorado for the last 10 years! This girl has spent more than her fair share of time at weddings and events. After our first chat, I knew I could confidently make an exception and help this event go off without a hitch. She really did think of everything and made showing up for her event so easy. The intention and attention to detail was remarkable. @grandcountyhs volleyball team had their first home game of the season against Monticello. All games were exciting to watch and there was a lot of back and forth on the scoreboard. So happy that school sports are starting up again. Here are just a few photos from the game.
