A common misconception is that a doula will replace your partner.🚫

Reality is, a doula should be working with your birthing partner and supporting them as well. A huge life shift and experience is one that requires a village and support from many.🤍

Also, we love a proud dad moment.🥹

Thank you to @nbccalive and @namiglac for inviting me on the show to sit alongside NAMI GLAC’s CEO, Traute Winters, to speak with @jessicavilchis about this past Saturday’s NAMIWalks Greater L.A. County Mental Health Festival as a NAMI Ambassador.

It was a privilege to discuss the incredible NAMIWalks Greater L.A. County Mental Health Festival, which was a powerful gathering that not only raised awareness about mental health but also provided vital resources to the community. With over 60 organizations and companies participating, attendees had the opportunity to learn about a range of wellness initiatives and local support services.

Walks took place across the country as well, and the festivals may be over, but the work and support for accessible mental health programming and policy advocacy continue.

To learn more about NAMI and their more than 650 NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates across the country, visit: https://www.nami.org, and you can also contact your NAMI affiliate to learn more about the programs and supports they offer.

Stay tuned for more insights and highlights from the festival! 💚

Feeling so lucky to have been invited to celebrate the coming of this sweet babyboy.🩵

As a doula, the job is so much sweeter when you can feel the love between the parents. This one feels even more special feeling the love of this sweet baby’s community.🥹

Thank you @trinitykenney for inviting me into this sacred space. You two will be such wonderful parents!

January photo dump. I made the conscious decision to not allow the waves of grief, outside forces and doubt to stop me. I used movement, support and nature to balance my month despite it all. #boymom #griefjourney #january2026 #movementishealing
