I have lines on my face. I have more grey hairs than not. I am squishy and shaped like a potato.

By the standards of pop culture beauty, I should change all of that to revert back to the 24 year old version of me. That is, if I want to have public admiration, fandom, and the male gaze.

Good thing I do not!

All of these beauty pageant disqualifications only make me more human, more real. And in the words of Project Hail Mary’s Rocky, that makes me “amaze, amaze, amaze.”

Only 5 weeks away!! Time is flying these days and it'll be here before we know it. Being able to put my focus and attention into this has been so helpful for my mental state. It's going to be an amazing night and I can't wait to see you all there!

Being able to give back to @alsalberta is so important for me and my family and our future. Their mission is to make each day the best possible day for people living with and affected by ALS. Anything I can do to give back to them for doing that for us is key!
